Kitty and I were exploring a small shopping center in Lorong Chuan for dinner, and we stumbled upon Chef Wai's Noodle Bar. It had a high rating on Google, so we decided to give it a try. We were surprised to find the place nearly empty when we arrived around 8 p.m. Usually, a lack of customers makes us hesitant, but we trusted the Google reviews and decided to give it a shot.The restaurant was cool, cozy, and had a simple but inviting decor. The lady server was friendly and helpful, recommending some of their best dishes, which were marked with a king crown on the menu. Kitty went for the Superior Seafood Union Poached Rice, while I chose the Sauerkraut USA Sliced Beef Noodles. We also ordered the Soy Bean Sauce Pork Ribs, which the server recommended, and the Homebrew Snow Pear for drinks.The food arrived quickly and piping hot. Kitty loved the poached rice, saying it was much more flavorful than others she'd had. The soup was hot, the rice was perfectly cooked, and all the flavors blended together beautifully. My beef noodles were also delicious. The noodles were chewy, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the soup was very tasty. The pork ribs were a perfect complement to both our main courses.We had a wonderful experience at Chef Wai's Noodle Bar.
